And I’m not talking about my diet, I am talking about my house!  After I spent the first of last week doing my spring cleaning I asked Tom to help me keep it straight this week.  He’s not really piggish but he has a tendency to not wipe up spills and track dirt in or not wipe out the extra toothpaste out of the bottom of his sink.  But this week he really tried so there isnt alot to do around here today.  Just some laundry, a quick wipe down and sweep up the floors and I am done. Gotta love it!  I hope he continues to do this.  It will be nice this summer to lay around the pool on Sunday’s instead of spend it cleaning house all day.

So I am feeling it today.  Got tons of energy that I would love to spend out working on my garden.  I went to Wally this morning and bought seeds…broccoli, squash, okra, onions…but when I got home Tom told me the garden is still way to wet to set rows.  I’m starting to get really peeved about the whole thing.  Right now they have rain forecasted to move in tonight and stick around for a WEEK!  I mean every friggin day, especially tomorrow when the storms are suppose to roll thru.  So not only will that push my planting back again, I also wont be able to ride my bike.  I figure if its only light to moderate rain I will still go, but if its heavy or stormy I’ll have to do something else inside for cardio.  Thats one thing I wish my Curves center had, some cardio machines.  I mean I do have plenty here at home but I’m more likely to use them while I am already at the gym and hot and sweaty.

Anyway, we are grilling out tonight.  Normally during the warm months we grill out every Sunday.  Tonight its mesquite grilled chicken breasts for me and grilled shrimp for Tom (I dont like shrimp, thays why I wont be eating it).  We are also gonna grill some corn on the cob and I’m gonna grill myself a big ol serving of broccoli….YUM!  With this nice weather I am totally into the fresh veggie scene.  In fact I wonder if the grocery store has any fresh squash in yet?  I would love some of that grilled too.  Guess I need to run up there and see what is in yet.  I know its early but I cant help myself!

Ok guys, gonna get.  My colored clothes are about ready to hang up and I do think I’m still gonna go check out the produce just for shits and giggles.  I do want to leave you with this quote to ponder.  My dentist sends out monthly newsletters and this quote was in this month’s.  I thought it was quite fitting for alot of us here…
